DAK Luftwaffen Artillery Crew

Rommel's Afrika Korps included several Luftwaffe anti-aircraft units equipped with 8.8cm anti-aircraft guns, which were used not only in air defense but also in engagements with enemy tanks such as Matildas and M3 Grants.
Unit cooperation was essential for the Afrika Korps, regardless of whether the enemy was airborne or land-based.

Both Army and Air Force troops in North Africa were issued a tropical uniform.
The Air Force version had a large pocket over the left knee and other minor differences.
The sand-colored fabric was lighter than the Army's, but faded quickly in the sweltering heat, so there were many different shades.
