WWII German Infantry on Manuevers

The M36 uniform was the standard uniform of the Wehrmacht infantry at the beginning of the Second World War, made of field grey fabric with a green collar.
However, as the war continued and simpler designs were required, M43 uniforms became more common.
Similarly, the style of boots would also evolve.
Soldiers carried equipment such as pouches, gas mask containers, canteen, shovel and cartridges
Infantry were issued with the Kar98k rifle or MG34/MG42 machine gun and NCOs with the MP40 submachine gun.
NCOs and machine gunners also carried a pistol.
