Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer Mid Production

From the middle of the Second World War, the Allies' tank designs were steadily improved and featured greater firepower and armour protection.
Under these circumstances, the German army was increasingly dependent on turretless fighter tanks equipped with a powerful gun.
Among these was the Hetzer, a compact fighter tank based on the Czech-built Panzerkampfwagen 38(t), with 60mm sloped front armour and a 7.5cm KwK.
When it entered service in July 1944, the Hetzerr's low silhouette and powerful armament made it a respectable opponent on both the Eastern and Western Fronts.
About 2800 Hetzers of different construction lots were produced and served after the end of World War II also modernised with the Czech and Swiss armed forces.
