Junkers Ju 87D-5/ N / D-8 "Night Attack Stukas"

Academy's high quality basic Junkers Ju 87G-2 kit is now joined by Special Hobby's own new conversion parts which allow the modeller to build the kit in the D-5/N/D-8 variants.

These versions were the last aircraft of the Stuka family to be flown in the bomber role and were used from 1943 until the end of the war.
They were not only used by the Luftwaffe but also by some Axis nations.

However, due to Allied air superiority, these Stukas were most often used at night in ground and bombing raids, and as the dive brakes were not needed for such actions, these were often removed and exhausts with flame suppressors were introduced.
