During World War II, the German armed forces used the powerful motorcycle for liaison and reconnaissance missions.
The Zündapp KS600 is one of the most famous motorcycles in the 600cc class because it featured a lightweight, rigid pressed steel frame and a 597cc twin-cylinder engine with a four-speed gearbox.
It was often used with a sidecar. Production began in 1938, and the KS600 was in service from the beginning to the end of World War II.
