M60A1 w/ ERA & M9 BULLDOZER

While the US Army had been equipped with the M1 Abrams since the early 1980s, the US Marine Corps still relied on the tried and tested M60A1 tank.
In order to adapt it to the threats on the modern battlefield, the M60A1 was repeatedly subjected to combat enhancements.
Including reactive armor.
These Marine tanks were also used in the first Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm:
In early February 1991, 200 M60A1s from the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (1MEF) crossed the border into Kuwait north of Khafji in Saudi Arabia. In the battle for Kuwait International Airport, they encountered an Iraqi force with T-54, T-55, T-62, Type 69 and T-72 tanks.
The Marines won the battle and destroyed about 100 Iraqi tanks with only one M60A1 lost (to anti-tank mines).
Some of the tanks were equipped with an M9 dozer blade for engineering tasks.
