The Panzerkampfwagen V "Panther" was one of the most famous tanks of the Second World War.
It was created as a direct response to the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks, which were far superior in power and armament to the Panzer III and Panzer IV on the Eastern Front.
It was powered by a V-12 Maybach engine with 700 hp and was equipped with an extremely effective 7.5 cm KwK 42 main gun.
