Schwerer Jagdpanzer Elefant Sd.Kfz.184
AH35A033
AMUSING HOBBY
1:35

The vehicle was protected by armor up to 200mm thick and equipped with advanced features such as a hybrid drive.
It had its roots in the Porsche-designed Ferdinand, which first saw combat during the Battle of Kursk in 1943.
Lessons learned from that battle led to modifications, including the addition of a commander's cupola, a machine gun for infantry defense, and better tracks.
The improved vehicles were redesignated Elefant in February 1944.
Elephant tanks were deployed in Italy and on the Eastern Front, where they fought against Allied forces until the final battles of the war.
