Vietnam war Gun Truck "King COBRA"

The M54 5 ton truck 6×6 (G744) was the base model of the M39 series truck. It is designed to carry a 4500kg, 4.3m cargo load in all weather conditions off-road.

In road operation, the load weight has been doubled.

This was converted by some units into a gun truck by placing the complete shell of an M113 APC on the loading area and protecting the driver's cab with armor plates.
