YPR-765 PRI.50 APC w/ .50-caliber M2 HB MG

In the 1970s, the Dutch army began looking for a replacement for the AMX-VCI infantry fighting vehicle.
This remained in use until the 2000s.
The YPR-765 was based on the hull of the AIFV infantry fighting vehicle, which was based on the M113 armored personnel carrier.
From 1977, FMC, together with DAF and Philips, built over 2000 vehicles for the Dutch armed forces.
The version shown here was equipped with the ACAV dome of the M113 for the Dutch armed forces for UN missions in the Balkans in the early 1990s.
As part of the arms aid for the liberation of Ukraine from Russian attackers, almost 200 of these vehicles, in various configurations, were delivered to Ukraine.
