Curtiss P-40N Warhawk "Island Warriors"

The US-built Curtiss P-40 fighter aircraft is one of the most iconic types of the war and was also supplied to the Allies under the name Kittyhawk.
The P-40N was the last production version and flew in US service mainly over the battlefields in China, India and the Pacific.
The Planes were used in different units and bore different markings that referred to the squadron or group they flew in. Some of the machines stationed on Pacific islands were also painted sand-coloured, which better suited the area of ​​operation.
