Supermarine Seafire F / FR Mk.46 No. 1832 Squadron

The Mk.46 variant of the Seafire was originally a naval Spitfire Mk.22 converted to use, closely following its predecessor, the Seafire Mk.45, and thus had fixed (not folding) wings with a laminar airfoil.
From the Mk.22 it inherited the low rear fuselage and naval equipment, arresting hooks and catapult spools.
In the end only 24 were built, as the final Seafire FR.47 variant had entered production.
Despite the rather small numbers, there were two variants, a fighter type and also the fighter reconnaissance version with cameras behind the cockpit.
