The German Tiger I was one of the most powerful tanks in World War II.
The early production models were sent to Tunisia at the end of 1942 as reinforcements for the Afrika Korps led by General Rommel and first appeared as an enemy in front of Western Allies.
Features of the early version included gun ports on both turret sides, slightly angular exhaust pipe covers, different skirts, etc.
Its impressive 8.8cm gun could destroy the M4 Sherman from over 2000m.
