Thanks to its powerful 76mm gun, it was able to hold its own against the T-34s of the enemy in the Korean War.
It was equipped with a V8 petrol engine and had a welded hull.
Perhaps the best of the Sherman variants, it played an important role in the Allied victory in World War II, but its service did not end there: when the conflict in Korea flared up in June 1950, "Easy Eights" were repaired and re-deployed, serving until the armistice of 1953.
