Russian Medium Tank T-55 AMV

Production of the T-55 began in 1958, as tensions between Western countries and the Soviet Union were rising.
It was easy to produce and featured a sloped bow, compact hull and hemispherical turret.
In addition, the T-55 was well armed with a 100mm cannon.
In the early 60s, the T-55A was developed with a radiation-resistant interior lining and a radiation-resistant cover of the commander's cupola.
The T-55 and T-55A were also built under license by Czechoslovakia and Poland, and some received various upgraded equipment, resulting in numerous subtypes.
Production of the T-55 continued until the late 70s, equipping the armies of over 40 countries. It was used in various wars such as the Middle East wars and the Gulf War.
The T-55AMV is a modernized version of this main battle tank.
