Wiesel 1 A1 / A3 mit MK20

The Waffenträger (Weapons Carrier) Wiesel 1 was delivered in the years 1990 to 1992 to the anti-tank parachute battalions of the airborne brigades and to the heavy companies of the mountain infantry and infantry battalions.

Initially in a number of 210 Wiesel 1 TOW and 133 Wiesel 1 MK with the 20mm machine gun MK 20 Rh 202.

Vehicles are upgraded with various combat value increases during their service life,

The Wiesel 1 A1 MK was equipped with the Autonomous Optronic Target System (AOZ 2000) for better night combat capability.
Finally, the Wiesel 1 A3 MK received the Army Command and Information System (FüInfoSys Army)

The vehicles were also used during the Afghanistan deployment of the Bundeswehr (decals included).
