Wiesel MK 20 (1:16)

In 1975, development of an air-transportable weapon carrier began. Development was initially stopped in 1978, but resumed in 1981.
The contract for a fast tracked vehicle with various weapon systems was not awarded to MAK until 1988, which led to the introduction of the Wiesel into the German armed forces in 1990.
With a weight of 2.75t, a length of 3.31m, a width of 1.89m and a height of 1.82m, two units can be transported in the medium transport helicopter CH-53, for example.
The 87hp engine can accelerate the vehicle to around 80km/h, and the operational range is around 200km.
The crew consists of a driver, a loader and a commander who also operates the weapon.
